Convert Image questions

Which output formats are available?

You can choose JPG, PNG, or WebP.

What happens to transparent areas in JPG?

JPG cannot keep transparency, so those areas use the selected background colour.

Will converting always reduce file size?

No. Format conversion changes the file type; the size depends on the image and chosen quality. Use Compress Image when reducing size is the main goal.

Is my image uploaded?

No. Supported conversions happen in your browser.
